The Illinois Saint Andrew Society is raising a minimum of $1 million this year so we can continue enriching people’s lives at our Scottish Home and through our cultural programs.  A list of our 2007 donors can be found here.

While we celebrate our long history of accomplishment, we must also look to the future. Your support is crucial to the continued growth and success of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society. You can designate your gift to one of our many programs and areas of need. Gifts of any amount are welcome. Please give as generously as you can.

You can choose where your donation is used:

•    Where Most Needed.

•    The Scottish Home: One day of care costs $190; one week costs $1,330; one month costs $5,700.

•    Scholarships: Our Society supports high school and college age students to study in the US and Scotland. A gift of $15,000 pays for an entire year of study abroad; $7,500 pays for a single semester; $1,500 pays for a single course; $1,000 pays for transportation.

•    History, Heritage and Museum: Our Society has the world’s only Scottish American Hall of Fame and Museum - a collection of antiques and artifacts that celebrate Scottish heritage and cultural accomplishments. Gifts of any size help maintain and expand our collections.

•    Music and Dance: Our Society provides space for rehearsals, recitals and competitive events for all ages. Competitions cost $5,000 in the US and $15,000 in Scotland, including travel. Rehearsal space here costs $500; recitals cost from $250 to $1,000.

•    Arts and Culture: From the history of tartans, to golf, bagpipes, and literature, our Society fosters programs to educate and build bridges between the US and Scotland. Sponsor an entire year of programs for $25,000; sponsor one program for $2,500.
