The Scottish Genealogy Group is an organization of individuals interested in researching their Scottish ancestry. The Group is part of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society founded in Chicago by immigrant Scots in 1845.
Membership Benefits include:
- Quarterly meetings featuring lectures or "how-to" workshop's on a variety of genealogy-related topics, all presented by experts in the field.
- Access to leading genealogists and other important resources for family history research.
- A group newsletter, published four times per year, which includes helpful information and announcements along with summaries of the lectures and workshops. If you miss a meeting, the newsletter provides you with a recap.
- The opportunity to network and share ideas with fellow members.
- Advance notification of community events.
