Welcome to chicago-scots.org, the website of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society.

Established in 1845, the Illinois Saint Andrew Society is the oldest 501(c)3 charity in Illinois. Today the Society has grown into the largest Scottish organization in North America. The Society nourishes Scottish identity through service, fellowship and celebration of Scottish culture.  The Illinois Saint Andrew Society welcomes anyone who is Scottish by birth, by heritage or simply by inclination. As well as offering a variety of programs that preserve Scottish traditions and promote Scottish culture, the Illinois Saint Andrew Society offers a wide range of outstanding assisted living and nursing services at the Scottish Home.
